CHAPTER 13

TOWN OF WILSON OBLIGATION TO PAY STATE AND COUNTY TAXES

THE TOWN BOARD OF THE TOWN OF WILSON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

Whereas, Wisconsin Statutes Section 7.067 requires the Town Treasurer to furnish a bond to the County Treasurer in the amount of the sum equal to the amount of such state and county taxes as are levied upon such municipality;

Pursuant to Subsection 2 of Section 70.67 Wisconsin Statutes, municipalities may eliminate the need for filing said bond by passing an Ordinance obligating the municipality to pay all state and county taxes in the event the Town Treasurer fails to make proper settlement with the County Treasurer.

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED BY THE TOWN BOARD OF THE TOWN OF WILSON THAT:
