CHAPTER 52 (October, 2006)
REGULATING PARKING

Now, therefore, the Town Board of the Town of Wilson does hereby ordain Chapter 52 of the Code of General Ordinances of the Town of Wilson as follows: 

52.01  Parking Prohibited. 

The operator of any vehicle shall not park such vehicle, nor permit such vehicle to remain standing at any time within the hereafter listed areas:

  1. On the easterly one hundred fifty feet (150’) of Wilson Lima Road where the same abuts the Lake Michigan shoreline.
  2. On the north side of Wilson Lima Road from CTH KK to the Lake Michigan shoreline.
  3. On the north side of Town Line Road from CTH KK east to the Lake Michigan shoreline.
  4. On the south six hundred fifty feet (650’) of Shircel Road.
  5. On the north and south sides of Beach Court from Evergreen Drive east to the Lake Michigan shoreline.
  6. On Pioneer Road east from Curtiss Drive to the Lake Michigan shoreline.
  7. On Indian Mound Road from the center of the Indian Mound bridge to lonesome Pine Road on the northwest side and three hundred feet (300’) from the center of the bridge on the northeast, southwest and southeast sides.
  8. West from Beach Court to Lakeshore Drive and CTH EE, otherwise known as West Evergreen Drive.
  9. On the south side of Black River Road and Lake Court from the intersection with Lakeshore Drive/CTH EE east to the Lake Michigan shoreline.
  10. On the east side of VanTreeck Trail from CTH V north to the Town of Wilson boundary at the curve.
  11. From the posted sign south to Indian Mound Road on Evergreen Drive.
  12. From the posted sign east to Evergreen Drive on Indian Mound Road.
  13. Directly adjacent to the Black River Fire Department located at 5536 Evergreen Drive from the posted sign on the north side of the building to the posted signs on the south side of the building.
  14. On the east and west cul de sacs of Timberlake Road.
  15. On the south side of Terry Andrae Avenue from the intersection of South 12th Street west 200’.

52.02 Parking Regulated. 

The operator of any vehicle shall not park, nor permit such vehicle to remain standing within the following areas during such times and at such locations as hereafter listed:

  1. On the north side of Black River Road and Lake Court from the intersection with CTH EE/Lakeshore Dr east to the Lake Michigan shoreline between the hours of 9:00 pm and 5:00 am
  2. On the north side of Evergreen Drive from Weeden Creek Road/West Evergreen Drive to the terminus between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m.

53.02  Continuous Parking on Streets. 

No owner or operator of any vehicle shall park such vehicle or permit the vehicle to be parked on any street for longer than 24 continuous hours.

52.04  Penalties. 

Each person found guilty of a violation of any of the provisions of this chapter shall be issued a Notice of Parking Violation.  A fine of Ten Dollars ($10.00) shall be remitted to the Town of Wilson Clerk within ten (10) days of the date of issue.  Failure to remit will result in an increased fine of Fifteen Dollars ($15.00).

Effective Date.  The herein Ordinance shall take effect upon enactment and publication.
